King’s Hawaiian rolls and breads are perfect for sliders, dips, and—let’s be real—eating on their own right out of the package. Although the name may suggest it, eating King’s Hawaiian doesn’t actually transport you to Hawaii…until now. The brand is opening up a Breakfast Bungalow and it will give you delicious eats and beachy vibes.
As of right now, the Breakfast Bungalow experience is only open in New York City at 1701 Broadway in NYC. The Bungalow will only run from February 22 to March 1, so it’s a limited-time offer for visitors.
One of the main events of the experience is an interactive restaurant where you can eat some of the crafted menu items by chef Jaime Young. The curated menu uses King’s Hawaiian items as the base of signature dishes by Jaime, including Coconut S’mores French Toast, a Spam-Egg and Shoestring-Potatoes Sandwich, and a Hawaiian Chicken Fried Steak Katsu Sandwich. If none of these are speaking to you, there will also be the option of 50 toppings and fillings to create your own breakfast using King’s Hawaiian bread.
Besides the food, the Bungalow is decorated to be totally Insta-worthy and inspired by the beaches of Hawaii. You can take photos in an ocean-inspired ball pit and hang out on a swing “in the mountains.”
Between the food and the photo ops, the Breakfast Bungalow is the perfect way to escape the New York weather, even if just for a little bit. During its run, the Bungalow will be open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can purchase tickets at BreakfastBungalow.com.
